Extinguishers
WATER
Water is still one of the most useful and effective fire extinguishers for Class A fires (freely burning materials such as paper, cloth and wood).
- Squeeze grip operation
- Corrosion resistant finish
- Internal polythene lining
- Kitemarked to BS EN3
FOAM
Spray Foam extinguishers provide a fast, powerful means of tackling Class A and B fires (petrol and volatile liquids). The foam forms a flame-smothering seal over the surface preventing re-ignition.
- Squeeze grip operation
- Corrosion resistant finish
- Internal polythene lining
- Kitemarked to BS EN3
CO2
Co2 extinguishers have non-conductive anti-static horns and are suitable for fires involving flammable liquids and electrical hazards. Ideal for modern office environments.
- Squeeze grip operation
- Corrosion resistant finish
- Harmless to machinery
- Kitemarked to BS EN3
Class A, B & C Powder
Dry Powder is a highly versatile Class A, B and C fire fighting medium for most fire risks. In addition to dealing with electrical hazards, flammable liquids and gases, this range of powder extinguishers is also effective on vehicle fires.
- Squeeze grip operation
- Corrosion resistant finish
- Kitemarked to BS EN3
WET CHEMICAL
The wet chemical extinguisher is ideal for class F fires, involving cooking oils and fats, such as lard, olive oil, sunflower oil, maize oil and butter. It is extremely effective as the wet chemical rapidly knocks down the flames, cools the burning oil and chemically reacts to produce a soap-like solution, sealing the surface and preventing re-ignition.
Independent fire tests have established that it is capable of extinguishing a fire in a 75 litre capacity deep fat fryer. The extinguisher is easy to use, producing a gentle, but highly effective spray. This application helps prevent hot oil splashing on to the user. An added benefit is that it is also suitable for freely burning materials (class A) such as wood, paper and fabrics.
